Does State Farm offer dental insurance?

Pros

Profit Sharing, commissions on added cars, bonuses when we have a small lapse percentage, pays for our monthly gym membership, 1 paid free day off a month, plenty of vacation/sick days

Cons

Pay could be better, a lot of tedious tasks, health insurance isnt that great, no dental

Does State Farm have a pension plan?

Pros

Work from home, instituting a hybrid work from home and in office experience.

Cons

Underpaid, unrealistic production expectations, mandatory overtime, limitations to move career outside of claims, no longer has a pension for new employees, senior management that is disconnected. Has created a production environment that treats employees like machines in a factory.

Advice to Management

Understand that the claims job is a marathon and not a sprint. Develop realistic standards and sufficient staffing. Re-evaluate the gathered data on claims production for doctored statistics and avoid confirmation bias.

Does State Farm offer a wellness program?

Pros

Good benefits (health and welfare, tuition reimbursement, retirement options, etc.), community involvement, Employee Resource Groups focused on Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, plenty of learning and development opportunities

Cons

Continuing to go through restructures, closing office locations and departments, siloed departments, outdated technology, compensation does not keep up with inflation, hiring/interview process is very specific to State Farm and does not translate externally, direction from Executive leadership is not consistently adopted across departments and lower levels of management, slow to make decisions and communicate effectively

Advice to Management

Please make timely decisions and communicate to those affected better. Employees have been stuck in a waiting period for 6+ months now with no clear direction.
