      Contract Specialist Interview

      12 Feb 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Vancouver, BC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at AECOM (Vancouver, BC)

      Interview

Interviewed. Was told I’d hear back “within a week.” Apparently that week is measured in geological time. Followed up twice. No reply. No rejection. No update. Just radio silence — the kind that says, “We can take your time, but we won’t spend 30 seconds respecting it.” I don’t expect a red-carpet experience as a candidate. I do expect the bare minimum: close the loop. If a company/HR can’t manage a simple “yes/no” after an interview, that’s not being busy — it’s being careless. Recruiting is often a preview of how communication works internally. This was a pretty clear preview.
