I applied online. I interviewed at AECOM in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview involved explaining 2 projects from the portfolio, and discussions on project expectations, past experiences, and soft skill exploration. There were scenario based questions, but easy to navigate, if past experience is held.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AECOM in Aug 2024
Interview
I stated my expected salary range but during the initial phone screening, was badgered by the recruiter to lower my expectations (this would have been a lateral move for me and I stated that I would expect compensation equal to my current position, not an increase). This was prior to undergoing a full interview. The only other questions they asked, I had already answered in the job application. I was offered an in-person interview but had to ask to reschedule due to serious illness. The recruiter said they would get back to me but I never heard from them again. Overall I found the hiring process very strange and unprofessional.
I was invited to the office and had the interview with two Directors. We talked about my experience, technical aspects and work that AECOM does. Overall positive experience. Nice office.
