So this company goes by AN Commerce on Indeed. That is where I applied and got contacted for an interview. The website is AN Associates, both here and on Indeed.
They were hiring for multiple positions when I went for an interview. I went on a Friday in the 2nd half, so most of the staff had left for the day. I waited for the interviewer to be available (5-10 mins). The other folks seemed helpful and courteous. One of the managers, Rahul, interviewed me. It looks like a startup so its a tiny office and lot very well organized. Bit of mess on floors and tables. People working from anywhere they find a place. I am okay with it. I have been in startups and as long as the work gets done, its fine. We found a room to have the interview and it went well. The hiring manager would have been my manager, had I got an offer. He was polite and wanted to know more about my experience. For him the cultural fit in the organization was more important than skills. He asked me what email tools I had worked on and why did I choose those. He asked me salary expectations and mentioned benefits provided to the employees. He mentioned that skills and tools can be taught but they want someone who clicks with the team. The employees whom I saw there seemd like recent college-grads. Average age of the company didn't seem like over 30. Seemed like an interesting place to work, if you can ignore lack of space, cleanliness or other overhead factors. If people and work matter more to you than money or anything else, this would be a good place to work. I would have liked to have that experience, but I did not get an offer.
