I went to the asda magic event, so basically I have to introduce the person (came as well for the interview) near to me, then they created two groups which we had to promote some products. After they put us in the shop floor where we had to some tasks like put the products in the shelf, then they called us for one one interview. In overall the experience was not bad, the interview was easy. The reason that I rate negative experience, is because they told us that they will give the outcome of the interview as soon as possible, maximum after 5 days whether successful or not, so after two weeks from the magic event, I called them back for ask what's going on, and they apologized for the inconvenient, and they will call me back soon, which I waited for another 3 WEEKS until I got the rejection email, the funny thing is that I can't apply for a job with them for at least 6 months, basically they put me in a black list, since I notice that all of my pending application (applications in processes after 1 month that I submitted) suddenly are all unsuccessful. Asda make people waste their time, I will never shop to this joke company.
I interviewed at ASDA (Bilton, Yorkshire and the Humber, England)
Interview
The interview process you just go to front desk and say you’ve got a interview then they come down and get you then you go up and have a chat for a about 10 minutes and that’s it
The interview process at ASDA is designed to assess your suitability for the role and the company culture. It typically begins with an application review, followed by a brief telephone screening. Successful candidates are then invited for a more in-depth interview, which may include practical assessments or group exercises. The aim is to understand your skills, experience, and how you would contribute to their team. ASDA strives to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation for all applicants.
Initial interview followed by a team day session with activities / team work.
Relaxed environment felt more like a day to get to know people and to learn about the business. Some tasks required thought but nothing too onerous.
