So I went to the interview today and to my surprise... there were like another 8 people there also waiting to be interviewed. I came in on time for my interview scheduled at 13:30 and there were people who were due to be interviewed at 12:45 and 13:00 still waiting for there's to take place. Awful planning. And instead of them to call in each person according to the allocated times given and deal with the backlog of interviews, they interviewed us based on the order we entered the building meaning that some people who were due to be interviewed later on (13:45 onwards), were interviewed before me.
When asked why they had so many people waiting, one of the women in charge replied saying that whenever they 'call people in for interviews, they don't turn up'.
Well... considering that each interview was under 5 mins, how hard would it be to allocate time slots with perhaps 10 min intervals between them? Fortunately, I was not in a rush to go anywhere so the waiting time wasn't tooo big of an issue. But if you are organising an interview, 13:30 should mean 13:30, not 14:05.
Oh... and the woman interviewing me did not even have a printed copy of my CV, she used (and kept) mine instead of having her own - very unorganised.
I don't even think I would accept this role if offered... please, do better.
