I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accacia (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Feb 2023
Interview
Accacia CEO Annu Talreja had interviewed me for the role of leading the company's sales efforts. She not only wasted my time over a month but also came across as quite juvenile with her lack of knowledge on hiring senior hires. She knew nothing about the salaries and industry standard compensation. Every time I had to follow up with her for the next steps. Having seen my Sales Plan, she discussed with me the salary and equity component and then just went unresponsiveness for more than 2 weeks. By the end of 3rd week she got one of her colleagues to communicate to me that she won't be going forward with my candidature. Unprofessionalism aside the utter disregard Annu Talreja has for a senior hire's time talks volumes about the way this company would treat its people. Stay away from expecting any professional behaviour from this circus of a company. You have been warned!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
2.5 hours of conversation over 2 meetings spanned across 2 weeks. Hardly any intelligent questions were asked. Infact I offered to make a 30-60-90 day plan. When I asked about certain numbers like ACV, ARR goal, etc I didnt get any response from her. I had to take a calculated guess to create a Sales Plan and showcase a 0 to 1 journey for Accacia if I came onboard.
