Thanks very much for taking the time to write your review. We're very sorry and saddened that you feel this way. We work hard to provide great experiences to our candidates and we take their feedback very seriously and use it to improve our performance.
It is rare that processes take as long a time as yours. It is highly likely due to the fact that we either filled a specific role or placed your application on hold (and told you about it in either instance). We are aware that long recruitment processes are difficult for candidates and try to avoid these situations as much as possible, but sometimes circumstances make it unavoidable and we always aim to contact candidates to advise them.
I'm very sorry indeed to hear your perception of the interview with my technical colleagues. We strongly encourage our interviewers to work WITH candidates (as would be the case in a team scenario in our office), so that they are supportive and encouraging to you when you reach a blocker. I have personally sat in interviews with the technical people that run these in-person interviews in the Barcelona office, and have been very proud of their interactions with candidates - they are kind, collaborative and encouraging - everything that we expect of our Adaptive colleagues on a day-to-day basis. I'm sorry that you didn't interpret their interactions with you in this way because that was certainly their intent.
There are two reasons why the office was not full; first of all it is the time of year when many of our colleagues are on holidays and secondly we moved into this new office some months ago, much bigger than our previous one with space to accommodate our growth forecast - we're going to fill it! We do indeed have low staff turnover and we're very proud of that. If we had something to hide, we certainly wouldn't have given you a tour of the office!
