The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aflac (Marriottsville, MD) in Mar 2012
Interview
If you have your resume posted publicly on any job search website (i.e. Careerbuilder), you will be constantly harassed by recruiters. Their pitch is always the same... A manager found and reviewed your resume and the rep is calling to see if you want an interview. Whether you agree or decline, more reps will call. It doesn't seem like they use any sort of database.
The person I interviewed with was nice. He pitched the job while pretending to be indifferent. You can tell that they would hire anyone, but try hard to keep cool about it.
It was a very odd process. They conduct their interviews in groups which I’ve never seen before. Honestly they seem desperate to me which I did not like. It is also all commissioned based with no salary. Very awkward to ask questions since it’s done in a group.
Met with district regional manager, in person interview, business professional attire. typical interview questions (i.e. strengths, weaknesses, how do you communicate with people, etc). Overall, not difficult and this was for an internship.
sat with multiple people going through the process. It was just the info session, but it was informative. invited to go through another round of interviews, but did not proceed.
