The process was very straight forward. There was an HR call, which was followed by a technical interview and then a call with the VP of engineering. The questions asked were all reasonable so nothing to complain.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you design an API endpoint to represent a relationship between two entities?
The interview process starts with an interview with a junior recruiter in Kosovo, who asks generic questions such as why, what, goals etc. After the initial interview they schedule a technical interview with two engineers with a simple task in my case it was a redux counter app that counts animals on a farm. The engineers start of with asking technical questions about javascript, graphql and git. And the task in its self takes approximately 20% of the scheduled time. The entire process is friendly and comfortable which i really enjoyed. Please note that doing really well in the technical interview does not indicate an offer, i was able to anwser all questions accurately and the engineers seemed positive about the outcome, however I recieved an email 12 days later stating that even though we got a positive feed back from our engineers we have decided to move forward with other candidates, which is understandable I suppose.
