The most bizzare interview process of my life.
I applied online and was then contacted to give an interview. As soon as i reached the office which by the way does not have any sign or anything so you randomly have to knock a few doors, i was taken to a room to respond to these email queries which was a test to see how well we respond to customer inquiries which were pretty standard, after that, we waited and waited...and waited. Randomly ,someone would pop out and point to the pantry with free food, yay, but id rather interview than have your free food..anyways then after a few hours, we were made to sit in a conference style scenario where an upbeat guy comes in and talk about the values, culture and history of Airbnb, either he was an actor or delusional but he sounded like he believed what he was saying and i am saying this because i did not see any of these great values that were supposedly so important to airbnb, he did show us a chart for how the day would go and according to that, the session he was giving was supposed to be at 10 am which was 4 and a half hours later as i immediately checked the time as that slide came up, it was 2.30-ish pm...and that slide also informed me that the email test that we gave as soon as we walked in was supposed to happen AFTER the session that he was giving at that moment so by that time, i was like, maybe these are Airbnb's values and believes that he is rambling so much gusto but this,THIS particular office that i am sitting at is NOT the company who's wonderful story i am watching on the monitor.
