Four interviews total. First an HR screening, then an interview with the hiring manager. The third interview was with a member of the technical team. The fourth interview with someone at the director or VP level. Interviews were straightforward and relatively laid back, excluding the one with the director/VP, who was more confrontational. Nothing about this interview process merits a GD review - it's what happened afterwards that does. Did not get the position but HR reached out 1 month later to see if I was still interested/available. Confirmed that I was. HR then essentially said, "OK thanks for confirming. We're looking at other candidates. We'll let you know." Essentially, "We rejected you the first time around [that's OK, no hard feelings], and you're not our first choice the second time around either, but we want to keep you in our back pocket just in case we can't find anyone better." That was really insulting.
