I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines in May 2012
Interview
Apply on line...get confirmation, fill -in more questions. they will offer you specific times for a phone interview. go through the phone interview, hopefully get an offer to come to the all- day interview...pick a city. The all day interview starts at 8 a.m. and will consist of group interviews...then many are let go. lunch. one on one with an HR rep...consists of about 45 mins...then a break..Many are let go again. I have only made it that far twice. I believe the next interview will be the panel interviews with just a few chosen ones. Very Intense! If accepted...drug tested...No nicotine products with in last 6 months! It's a very fun but intense process if you really want it. It's horrible if you only thought you wanted it.

I applied online. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Two virtual interviews that included an AI interview, a personality questionnaire and a “test” of your ability to use resources provided to answer flight-related questions. After that you’re invited to an in-person interview.
The interview process is lengthy and in depth. They really dive deep. Overall, it was a great experience and ensured that they find the right fit. I did end up accepting and am awaiting training.
