I interviewed for the digital customer success role. I found the process to be going well but incredibly slow. During my initial video interview with the recruiter, he explained that he would get back to me by end of week. I didn’t hear anything for upwards of two weeks. I had my interview with the hiring manager after that two weeks period. I noticed as he asked me about my work history, he was clearly very distracted with his phone. I could see that he was texting or messaging someone. When I paused for additional questions and feedback, he didn’t even remember what I had said previously. It seemed like maybe he was distracted. I continued with the interview and was told I would be moved to the final round/meet the team that I would be working with. The recruiter went completely ghost. I sent two follow up emails as I had another offer on the table. I was really excited about the role and thought my background was a good fit. But, I decided to go with the company that valued my time.
