Typical Phone screening interview then I had a video interview with the hiring manager on teams. The hiring manager informed me that I would basically have to sell on each call that I take. I am a former P/C and Life Sales Agent and I understand sales but selling on every call is not realistic. It seems like it could possibly be a stressful environment. I sell for the betterment of an individual not to just “hit a number”. This job is for someone that wants to get their feet wet in the Medicare/pharma sales industry but I do not see it being a long term position. I did not go forward with the offer. The hiring manager also informed me that you have to like “old people” to be successful in this job. I love old people but I do not take advantage of them.
