I applied online. I interviewed at Allstate (Orlando, FL) in Apr 2021
Interview
The first step after submitting your application is a phone voice recorded interview. Questions are asked by an automated recording. There is no option to go back if you happen to have a hiccup during your recorded answers so I would note that it’s important to make sure you try your best to organize your thought process beforehand. The best process for me was to keep it brief while at the same time hitting key points of experience relating to the job position. The next step for me after I passed that was a video interview with lead counsels. It was suppose to be 3 people however one person did not show and the other person had connectivity issues so it ended up really being 1 person. The recruiters gave me materials and videos on what to expect for it and how best to prepare so if you do not get that prior to your interview I would say make sure to ask as this helped with many of my misc questions. My interview experience was what one would normally expect. I think I really had room to control the conversation at some points but since I am more of an introvert this kid of did not work in my favor. I just had the interview yesterday so I predict I will either get a second interview or I did not get the job.

I applied online. I interviewed at Allstate (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview process started with a telephone call with a recruiter. This was to initially go over previous work experiences and expectations of the company etc.
Then an interview with the Belfast office which was mostly behaviour based.
Then an interview with the US office which was behaviour based and based on legal experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
As work based in US office, asked about how the US political environment has a direct link to the job.
Best experience not hard but thoughtful questions and not too difficult. Took 3 hours and nice comfortable office setting. The attendees were carefully listening and ready for follow up questions and easily reminded of topics at hand.
