I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Brooklyn, NY) in May 2015
Interview
Phone contact by an in-house recruiter, followed by an intense initial panel interview with the 4 managing attorneys, followed by a more conversational second interview with the chief attorney. The first interview was more difficult where they grilled me about specific types of tasks and examples from my current job. Second interview was a pleasant conversation, very friendly. I was one of about 4 candidates. None of us saw the others as our interviews were at different times and days.
