I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Allstate (Malvern, PA) in Jan 2015
Interview
One of the lead recruiters contacted me by phone after seeing my resume online. We had a nice chat over the phone about basic work experience and the opportunity. We scheduled to meet a couple of days later at their office. I met with the recruiter and two others for about 20 minutes. Everyone was very reassuring and I felt no pressure from them. I got the impression that questions were asked to "check off the boxes" and did not really care what I was saying, as long as my words mostly made sense. Said they would contact me in a few days. Got a call that afternoon.
I had an interview with the recruiter who was great and very communicative. I then met with the hiring leader who was very personable and friendly. The timing didn’t work out and I went with another opportunity but over all it was a great experience
