The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amgen in Feb 2009
Interview
Applied online, got contacted through email by the scientist in regards to an phone interview. There were two interviewers, both were very nice. The interview took about 30 minutes, the first ten munites was them asking questions about my resume, stuff that I noticed on my job--not very technical questions. Asked me what in my lab would describe me as, when I find time to do my research, what a typical day in my lab is like. They then told me that they would gauge my interest in Amgen and that position through the questions that I would ask them.
The position got canceled because there was not enough funds to continue that internship position.

Question 1
What was one thing you learned and observed from spending time in lab?
It was an initial phone screening, followed by an interview with the hiring manager. The interviewer did not ask a lot of questions about my resume but instead asked technical questions.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amgen (Singapore) in Sept 2023
Interview
HR interview first round screening does not truely assess interviewee's potential. Interviewer asked technical questions in which answers given was apparently too technical for interviewer to understand. Interview felt very rushed and as an interviewee, I couldn't get much out of it.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amgen (Thousand Oaks, CA) in May 2023
Interview
The interview questions were fair and not too hard. But a tedious process and the recruiters were terrible. They give the pay range in the job description and I was over qualified. The recruiter still offered me the lower end of the salary range.
