I should note that the conversation with the team lead felt unpleasant; he gave the impression of being overly critical and seemed focused on finding reasons why I might not be a good fit.
The third step was a homework assignment sent by the team lead—a very basic React task along with writing tests for the application.
A few hours after submitting the assignment, I received a generic email stating that they would be moving forward with other candidates. When I requested feedback to help me improve in the future, they ignored my request and did not respond.
Overall, I left the process feeling disappointed, as the least they could provide is feedback, especially when asking for a homework assignment.
