I was contacted by an external recruiter through LinkedIn regarding a potential opportunity. We had an initial 40 minute phone interview that seemed to go well. He indicated he would be submitting my profile to the company CEO and would follow up with next steps. Despite three direct follow up messages from my side, I never received a response. While I understand not every process moves forward, I would have appreciated the courtesy of a quick note letting me know I hadn’t been selected to move on. A simple acknowledgment would have closed the loop respectfully.
