I applied for the position, and I was contacted by the recruiter within the day. I scheduled a phone interview with them for Friday. Throughout the week, I got reminders notifying me about my upcoming interview. I even got a reminder 30 minutes prior to my interview from the recruiter to make sure I was prepared and available. I took 6 hours out of my day, 4 for preparing for the interview and 2 for waiting by my phone for Aramark hiring coordinator to give me a call, and they never called me. I thought it was incredibly unprofessional, given the several notifications and set reminders issued from their recruiters. If someone else was hired for the position, as assumed, that's awesome, but notify the other scheduled candidates instead of leaving them on reminders, so we don't waste our time.
I tried to call a service number, not available. I asked the automated robot, Allie from Aramark, to attest to this situation, inquiring of call customer service line to transfer me to the hiring department. No number. She - the automated and scripted instant messaging robot- gave round about answers to my queries.
Judging from this frustrating experience, I can see they are incredibly disorganized, unprofessional, and disjointed. I at least know to avoid their company when applying for jobs.
