Interview
Firstly I applied through the sainsburys website and got invited to an interview after 2 days. This was my first ever interview and I’m truly disappointed. The interview was going so well and then at the end I ask “is there anything else you’d like to ask me to help you with the selection process?”. The interviewer goes “I know everything I need to no and I feel as though you have no personality”. Like what?? So unprofessional. And. Throughout the whole process he was stressing how the customer is never right etc
Funny enough I read the reviews for this particular store location and the customers were right. The manager is so unprofessional and truly shouldn’t work in customer service with that behaviour.

Your manager asks you to do something but a customer asks for help what do you do?
A few basic questions about what you’re like, what you’re good at, what you can offer etc etc etc
Thought it was relaxed and okay, friendly store manager was interviewer
You had to do an online assessment with your application with some scenario questions and then questions that are personality tailored. Then offered a 1 to 1 interview supposed to last 30 minutes

Casual conversation talking about experiences, skills etc. What the role was about and responsibilities it carries. Asked my availability and flexibility. Make sure you have questions to ask the interviewer asking about key aspects of the role.
