I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Perth, Western Australia) in Jan 2020
Interview
Great hiring process, selected for phone interview. After the phone interview, met the Regional Sales Manager in person. She was really lovely, but they decided to go with someone with 10+ years experience for this 'rookie', entry-level job.

Question 1
How did you overcome a conflict in the workplace previously?
A typical interview. I was asked questions about my educational background, past experiences. After this, I was given an hour to prepare for a mock sales pitch with a doctor. I was given a reference paper and a leaflet as materials to prepare.

Question 1
What skills do you think are necessary to succeed in this role.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Sydney) in Jun 2025
Interview
after submitting a cover letter and resume, i was asked to do an online mock interview questions. Then i was invited to meet with the manager for a casual chat. she informed me there will be 5 other stages of interview.
i did not proceed to next stage afterwards. to be honest i already have a fulltime job in healthcare and it would have been very hard to attend five more interviews in person. i said that to them to give me notice if you need me to attend more interview. i cant understand why they cant screen everything in one go rather than 5 separate interviews, this i thought a very long process. Ok to apply if you got plenty of time and no other job to attend to, not ok if looking for people who already are in fulltime employment.
Interview was smooth and straightforward and didn’t take long to find out if I was hired or not. I’ve had interviews that lasted months and I think this only lasted a week or so if I remember correctly.
