I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at AstraZeneca in May 2010
Interview
I was contacted by the HR specialist to establish my interest in a screening phone interview with the hiring manager. Screening phone interview lasted 45 minutes and essentially covered my relevant previous work experience, why I was interested in AZ and this position, specific job-related experience relevant to the position applied for. If they are not interested, do not expect a call back or any other communication and they are pretty closed as a system relative to following up on your own initiative.

Question 1
What makes you stand out relative to this position that will make you the most attractive candidate?
Great interview process! Three rounds with the team and moved quickly on a decision. Ultimately required relo which was not possible for me unfortunately but appreciated the communication throughout the process

Question 1
Strategic thinking and examples of cross functional matrix team leadership
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AstraZeneca
Interview
Absolutely appalling communication ( or rather lack of it) following the interview. Informed at the interview that the outcome would be known in 2-3 weeks time and it took AZ 10 weeks to inform about unfavourable outcome. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional attitude. Was
also given false hope during agonising 10 weeks of waiting ( email informing that I am in strong consideration for the position). Will definitely stay clear from AZ.
