I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Atlassian (Amsterdam) in Sept 2020
Interview
Initial phone call with a member of the Atlassian recruitment team that was organised via email. This was really positive and friendly with lot's of focus on my strengths and experience, plus a great insight into the company, team, and this specific role. There was also great transparency about the forthcoming recruitment process which was a bonus.
A face-to-face (via Zoom) interview was arranged shortly after and this was also a really interesting and positive experience. Senior management from across the organisation take on the interview duties at this stage so it was insightful to hear more from someone who had greater experience in the specific area of the role.
Sadly, I wasn't successful and did not progress to the final stages, however the email to explain this was thoughtful and considerate. This shows a genuine level of respect for candidates time and that Atlassian value the impression they leave with people. Some useful insight into why I didn't progress (lack of experience in comparison to other candidates) and an encouraging suggestion to keep up the interest for potential future roles with the business meant a lot from such a fantastic company.

Interview
Had a first interview with the recruiter, which I thought went well, then had a month of radio silence before finding out that I'd been passed to the next stage.
I was interviewed by the recruiting manager, which again, I thought went well. Another 2 weeks of radio silence, followed by a generic email telling me I'd been unsuccessful, and a refusal to provide me with any feedback.
The ethos of the company doesn't follow through to the recruitment process.

Interview
Met HR , no defined interview process , HR couldn't explain the job requirements well and didn't explain the next steps and didn't hear back after. HR said i don't have the required years of experience in the call , so why was invited to the call ?

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Atlassian (London, England) in Aug 2021
Interview
Overall, the interview process was one of the best I have ever experienced. Everything was organized and there was feedback email/call after every round. Total of 5 rounds including recruiter, hiring manager, peer manager, values alignment, and global support head. It was a bit lengthy process but every discussion was worth each other's time. During the interview process, I could feel the great and encourgaing culture of the team I will be working with.

Nothing out of the box. All questions were related to my previous experiences of handling, reacting, and managing certian things.
