I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Atomic Machines (Berkeley, CA) in Mar 2023
Interview
Talked about the company goals then gave a design problem to work through on how to design a machine would insure the part being made would be flat in every part .
The call was recorded. In addition to standard behavioral and demographic questions, I was asked a general technical question: "Describe the types of motors and their usage." My technical answer was recorded specifically to be shared with the engineering team for review.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Atomic Machines (Berkeley, CA) in Aug 2024
Interview
Interviewed with the Head of Engineering and then the CEO. I didn't pass the interview, but still really liked the company and the team. Worked with an external recruiter and that was a great experience, the external recruiter was very aligned with Atomic Machines. I'll try again when they're looking for more junior roles
