I was contacted by a staffing agency one Friday afternoon, and asked to interview the following Monday morning. I agreed, and showed up to meet the department supervisor, who walked me to the elevator, and into a conference room. I handed him my resume, at which point he asked me if I'd be available to start the next day. He informed me of the job expectations, pay rate, etc. I agreed, and started work the following day.
