know your resume

A recruiter contacts you that doesn't know anything about the actual job, just reads from a script. If you appear to be qualified, they forward you on to a manager in that general field. This person may or may not actually know what you are supposed to be doing. You may have up to 3 phone interviews, and then will receive a conditional offer of employment, and will be told that you need a drug test, and that someone (never really tells you who) should be in contact with more info.
