One Word for this Company : Horrible Interview Process.
My experience was really Bad may be because it was COVID time.
The Process was too slow and it took may be 9-10 months.
10 months back I had applied directly in their career portal.
So 9 months back they did initial Screening.
After 6 months they took the first round which was technical discussion with Team Lead.
The second round was virtual with all heads from department of maintenance, electrical,hr and one more person.
Then they made me wait for 1 more month and asked me to have a site visit.
Site visit was during COVID time.
During the site visit I was made to see all their machines for 3 hours with technical questions.
Then during the same day again I had a face to face round with all the department heads.
Finally after 2 weeks a talent acquisition HR head mails me to send my payslips.
I do send her the payslips and she calls me and offers me 15 percent hike that includes the variable pay they offer verbally 😂
After all these hassle s and based on the time I spent for these people this is what I was offered.
Finally verbally I told them I already got a 15 percent hike at my current organisation and also holding another offer.
My advice to people is not to visit their site.
Kindly check with them what they are willing to offer before you visit their site.
They are not hiring based on technical abilities instead they hire people who are willing to adjust in every issues as per their requirement.
Advice to the management is please don't lower the reputation of BASF by showing your incapability in finding a good resource and then in negotiating with the good resource during the hiring process.
It is just a job and don't make people who are interested in your organisation to feel bad about your organisation.
