I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bain & Company in Oct 2009
Interview
I had two phone screenings and several 1-on-1 interviews on site. The questions asked closely matched the skills needed as described in the job posting on the website. They wanted a fair bit of detail in my responses. There were standard questions to assess if I had the skills and my experience with similar types of work, as well as some problem-solving questions. There weren't really any surprises.
Be familiar with the details of the work you have done and prepare some specific examples you can refer to throughout the interview.

Question 1
What aspects of this job are you least excited about?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bain & Company (London, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview process was thorough and stretched across 3 months. I had 5 rounds of interviews with various team members, including the hiring manager and VP. The process included both behavioral and more focused conversations, with a strong emphasis on executive presence, stakeholder management, and influence. Communication throughout the process was professional and thoughtful, though the timeline was quite long. Overall, interviewers were engaged and collaborative
Did an online test then was invited for an interview at the office. The process was handled very professionally from start to end. The recruiter was very responsive and detailed.
Several phone calls and ended up being ghosted by the hiring panel and manager. Sent several follow up emails with no response. That was the only part of the interview process that was frustrating.
