The interview process at Bain & Company typically consists of three main stages: an initial phone screening with HR, followed by two rounds of face-to-face interviews with senior consultants and partners. Each interview includes practical case studies simulating real client problems, behavioral questions about past experiences, and an assessment of analytical skills. The process is rigorous but interviewers are supportive and provide constructive feedback throughout the exercises.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to convince a team or group of people to adopt your point of view. How did you approach it and what was the outcome?
I applied online and got a online assessment after ~1 week. I completed the online test but I haven't heard back since then. The timeline is a bit uncertain to me.
First round case interviews. Got standard questions about profitability and market entry. IMO the most difficult part was reading complex charts and distilling the key insights with time pressure. There was little behavioral.
The interview was overall efficiently run and very professional. It had 2 stages; a case interview typical of management consuting interviews and a fit interview to assess cultural fit with the firm.
