The interview is quite laid back . Book knowledge and customer service is very important and the determining factor to getting the job. Knowing the different types of book genres is also a must. A few customer service related questions that you would also need to nail.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Bargain Books

Question 1
Imagine a customer comes into the store looking for a book, but they can't quite remember the title or author. They give you a vague description of the plot and say it's a novel they read in college about 10 years ago. How would you approach helping this customer find the book they're looking for?
Asked book preferences and went through CV. Questionnaire not so important but understanding of sales market was valuable. Willing to take you on with little experience but you must be a hard worker.
