I applied online. I interviewed at Barone Spinal Care in Apr 2017
Interview
Complete waste of my time. It was exactly as the other people stated. A group presentation was held with over 20 people. They had a bunch of tests for people to take and with the amount of people there, there was no way everyone would get to it within the two hours they said it would take. They were unorganized and all over the place. They did not talk about the positions in detail, just listed them. I got the feeling that they were just advertising.
Also the Dr. talked for way too long about himself and then gave everyone coupons that expired in two weeks.
I wouldn't want to work there and I wouldn't recommend the practice to any one given their shady "interview" joke.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Barone Spinal Care (Schaumburg, IL) in May 2016
Interview
Same experience as previous candidates. Although I provided an extensive resume, I was asked to fill out a job application that asked very specific (and illegal) information including my maiden name (not allowed) and date of birth. They also wanted me to consent to a background check prior to being interviewed. I went with my gut, and told the practice manager I did not feel comfortable with the application and that I did not feel the job was a good fit. Because she would not destroy the application in front of me, I did walk out of the office with it. Seeing as how other individuals have had the same experience, I am tempted to turn them in for deceptive practice. This is not an interview process, as anyone with any HR experience knows that one cannot ask for maiden name or birthdate.
