Coming to the Leeds central office with two staff members on the panel where they asked care related questions and regarding recruitment ability. They were professional with their conduct and the interview was among the easier ones. They offered the job role very quickly after saying that they were happy with my answers and abilities. A few days later the rescinded the offer as they could not meet the need for my disability. It is disappointing but understandable. However, they have persisted to call and keep offer a care role. I do not understand how duty of care can then be fulfilled in a more physically demanding role but not an office based one. The company values seem skewed and I feel embarrassed for them as they clearly do not think, maybe we should stop harassing the candidate if we have already said we cannot meet need. They maybe short on care staff but a little bit of integrity would go alone way.
