I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Benchmark Arts (Burbank, CA) in Dec 2020
Interview
The process was fairly quick. The initial interview was positive. The second one was longer and more in depth. Once I had the third (the first In person,) I met the owner and I got an offer a little over 1 hour later. After getting an offer I was expected to instantly accept it without getting any time to think about what they had written or negotiate anything at all. When I pressed them for clarification on work culture they lashed out and instantly withdrew the offer. I thought when they told me I could ask further questions if I had any, they would be less annoyed by them than they were. In My opinion when a company say's It's a "family environment" and has no tolerance for questions or clarification, It's a big red flag.

Interview
The initial remote interview was positive and lead to an additional remote panel interview.
The third interview was an in person visit and shop tour. During this visit the owner criticized the former employee for leaving the company and accused me of wanting to steal electricity for asking about their EV policy for plug in vehicles. Less than 1 hour after that interview I received a decent offer however I was pressured to accept it on the spot without any time to read the offer whatsoever. Initially I accepted and they told me to direct any questions to their hiring manager and/or HR person. After I emailed some general questions and one about employee culture they lashed out, accused me of being negative, and withdrew the offer. I thought when they told me I could ask further questions they would be less annoyed and angry than they were. In my opinion when a company tells you their culture is a "family environment" it's a big red flag.
