I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
First, there is a phone interview asking you to describe yourself and why you chose to apply at Best Buy. After that, you go for an in-person interview with a department manager (mine was the mobile manager). The questions I remember her asking were: "Describe a time where you had to deal with a difficult customer", "What made you choose BBY over its competitors?". After this interview if they like you, then they will call and schedule a follow-up interview with the GM. At this point, I knew I got the job because she asked about my availability and ability to work holidays, etc.
