I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2010
Interview
Applied on Sunday. Got a call on a Tuesday, just basic questions like: what times are you available?, what department would you be comfortable working in? easy enough. The lady I talked to scheduled me for an interview the next day. I went to my interview on Wednesday, interviewed with a department manager right away, he asked me if
I could stick around for another interview. Second interview was with the GM. I pretty much just listened to him talk for 30 minutes, he asked what I would do if I caught someone, maybe even a coworker stealing. I told him I would report it, he ate it up. He offered me the job on the spot.
The interview process was straightforward and easy. Was told I got the job during the interview, and that they would reach out. They told me a start date and said they would get back with an exact time. Didn't reach out until two weeks after the start date they set and asked if I still wanted the job.
Quick, Short and sweet, overall very welcoming
Good interviewer, respectful and straight forward,
