I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2012
Interview
Submit an electronic application online. A week later will receive a call from the human resources manager for the phone interview. Schedule a date for the in-person interview. Best Buy almost hire everyone at the in-person interview as it offers entry level positions.
The interview was pretty straightforward.
They ask the usual standard customer service questions and get back to you a week or 2 later.
Overall, the experience is fluid and not complex.
The interview was interesting, but I wasn't informed of the final result until several weeks later, which is a negative point. Otherwise, the questions were relevant and personalized. It took about twenty minutes.
