      Creative Role Interview

      1 Jun 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Birdeye in May 2022

      Interview

Applied online, application was reviewed within an hour despite the 200+ applicants. Had a call with the recruiter the next day, then met with person who would be managing the role. I greatly appreciated their candor. From our conversation, I was able to grasp that this was definitely not what I was looking for at this time. I'm not one for poker faces so my hesitancy was glaringly obvious once we got into the organizational structure of the creative team. The position was well-compensated and listed on the posting, but essentially be prepared to hit the ground sprinting due to short-staffing and lax ticketing systems on the creative side.
