I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Blue Beyond Consulting
Interview
This was a very long process, about 3 months, and I was not given an offer. It was a series of 30-60 minute zoom calls with various staff members, who were all lovely.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Was asked to provide examples of past work (communications, project plans, etc.)
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Blue Beyond Consulting (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2021
Interview
The process was smooth. HR screen, SME interviews plus lots of group interviews and 1:1s. The interviews felt conversational and informal. Had to share some samples of past work and during the interview process walk through the examples and story.
My initial interview with the recruiter was pleasant but I ended up cancelling my second interview with this company partly because of the CEO’s rather vindictive response/ rant posted to an employees review that expressed a genuine concern about politics being pushed too much in the workplace. Her response was definitely off putting and seemed to me like it just verified that employee’s concern. I would not want to work for a company that makes their employees feel unwelcome if they have differing (or conservative) political beliefs. Even if you think that your political ideals play a part in your mission statement, those kinds of one sided political assertions do not belong in the work place and is highly unprofessional and rude.
