      Application

I interviewed at Booking.com (Orlando, FL)

      Interview

It was a thorough interview, but not very professional recruiter. Interviewed several times with them. Once the recruiter never called. The questions were not hard - typical cs questions. The conversation was friendly.

      Question 1

They asked a lot of behavioral questions

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Booking.com (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2020

      Interview

I passed thru 3 tests. The first one I did at home when I sent my resume. Then, got a phone interview. The last stage was an interview with two specialists. They make you feel comfortable. The only thing I didn't understand was that they said to me in the last stage that they don't think my experience is a good fit for them. They shouldn't let someone get that far with a process when they are going to dismiss them because of their resume.

      Question 1

Tell me about a situation where you had to deal with a difficult customer and how you deal with it.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Booking.com (Grand Rapids, MI) in May 2019

      Interview

First, there was the phone interview. Then, I was invited to an orientation of sorts - A group of about six people were brought into a conference room and we were given snacks and a presentation about the business. Then, a tour of the building. Next, we were herded into a room with computers and we all had to complete a simple English test. Lastly, the individual interview - I was brought into a room with who would be my future Team Lead and another member of management. One guy, my future team lead, asked the questions and one guy had a laptop to record my answers. The questions were really standard interview questions, but the weird thing? I felt this strange need to be "cool" that I've never had in an interview before. I hadn't felt that way since high school. Booking.com is a very young company - very millennial. My advice to someone trying to get hired here: Have good answers, but hold yourself well. Fitting into the work environment is very important here.
