I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2021
Interview
After the application was submitting there was a recruiter screen, followed by a coding test using HackerRank. After that there was a case with a Lead Data Scientist and a case with BCG's chatbot Casey. Finally there were three cases with parters back to back.
The cases were very technical but also used business knowledge. Two of the cases were more interviewer led while the other two were more candidate led. They focused on a specific business problem but incorporated elements of statistics, data analysis, machine learning and optimization into finding the solution and making a recommendation.

Coding challenge, then soft skills which i did not get to. Coding challenge was online timed in a third party tool. Not very hard but needed more time and didnt move quick enough.
The process includes six stages: HR screening, CodeSignal online assessment, basic pandas and data science case interview, followed by three business case interviews focused on practical problem-solving and business impact.
