I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Menlo Park, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied through their webpage, was contacted around 3 weeks later with an invitation for a phone interview. The interview was with a HR manager, very heavy on behavioral and fit questions.
After this interview I was contacted for an on-site interview with two of their product managers. Interviewers had a very technical background and their questions were more about interaction with developers than product or business related.
I received a rejection email a week later.

Question 1
If you were hired and immediately put in charge of a new product that is schedule to hit the market in 3 months what steps would you take to make the product launch a success?
Great, concise, interesting conversations. Thought provoking questions and showed genuine interest. The earlier stages were intense and brutal with many people being met and spoken to. Too many rounds of interviews and repetitive questions

How would you change an onboarding process for your favorite app
I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (London, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
The process took 2 weeks, I had a first interview with the recruiter and after I've met the hiring manager. Both were very nice and gave me a good impression, one of my friends though suggested me not to continue the process as she was working there and told me the salary I was offered was quite down compared to the company's benchmark. Looking back I wish I continued the project, I think she said that cause she didn't want me to earn more than her. She was promoted to senior level the past year.
If the company wants to find out more I'll be happy to give them more details.
