I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group in Jan 2016
Interview
Telephone-interview (Frankfurt-Munich). The interviewer was late, 30 min(!). A young consultant, under a lot of pressure and lacking empathy, bad combination... First, 20 min questions about CV and leadership/team-work, then I was asked to solve a case study over the phone, a candidate-led one, it was very challenging. Despite all the money BCG is investing in creating the image of a peoples´ creativity and leadership oriented company (YouTube channel, TEDtalks, etc), the interview felt more like a standardized test, either you fit in the mold or you´re out, disappointing...

Question 1
What do you feel most proud of? Characteristics of a leader? Teamwork? Case-study: LED producer for the car industry, calculate market size and growth.
2 rounds 2 cases each round; managers/principals in round 1 and partners in final round. Was overall quite a fluid process with clearly communicated timelines and expectations for the cases including time and structure

I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Amsterdam)
Interview
Helder en duidelijk process. Begint met een CV opsturen, daarna online testen, daarna twee cases met inbegrepen sollicitatie gesprek op locatie in Amsterdam. HR management was erg duidelijk en behulpzaam tijdens het process
It was normal. They ask for everything from high school to latest education. Then an assessment. After that the interview round starts. The first one is a live case study with a consultant. Then one more and then final interview.
