Interview
I was given a task that took around 6 to 8 hours, and they really liked the work. After that, I was scheduled for an interview. Later I found out that they were actually looking for skills very different from mine, and to be honest, the task was not at all related to the skills they wanted. I feel this should have been thought through before giving me the task. It came across as if the task was more about collecting ideas for their product rather than properly evaluating me.

Interview
Terrible experience, given a take home on an automation task with appium, postman, create a test plan with a limit of 24hrs. No response after submitting the tasks and felt like they make use of applicants to do their job.
Was reached out to by recruiter and was asked to set up time with the hiring manager. The call was rushed. The hiring manager barely asked me anything other than to tell them about my experience and at the end asked if I had any questions for them. This was almost 1 month ago and I still haven’t received an update. It would be nice if you respected candidates and let them know if you’re moving them forward or not. Don’t act like we’re wasting your time either. Show some respect it’s our time too.
