      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Broadcom (San Diego, CA) in May 2013

      Interview

First was phone screen, asked mainly about resume and background. Was interested in my undergrad project, which was about LTE. Asked two puzzles, about probability which was not really hard. About 3 weeks later got onsite interview. 1:1 for 2 rounds, 1 hour each. I worked one of the managers later on during my internship.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Went through resume. Asked about Digital communication, source coding and channel coding procedure. Rake receiver, convolutional coding concepts. Very few coding questions, asked about static, global, volatile variables.
