I would describe it as somewhat hostile. I also think that the job description was unclear. In addition, the hiring process included an preliminary screening made by a recruitment company that also described the position as something quite different from what the company was actually hiring for. So, for me, it was a confusing process, and there was some hostility on the part of CBRE.
