I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CBRE (Washington, DC) in Jun 2017
Interview
I met with the Research Team Recruiter in an office outside the D.C. metro area because she had work to do out there that day. After speaking with her for 30-45 minutes, she wanted me to meet with other members of the firm. I then took an Uber to their main downtown office where I had lunch with a first year analyst, and two interviews with other members. All of the interviews were all behavioral and personal questions, as well as the general explaining of past experiences of internships.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you interested in Commercial Real Estate and what attracts you about CBRE
The conversation was smooth and comfortable. The interviewer clearly explained the role and benefits, asked straightforward questions, and created a welcoming environment that made the interaction easy and professional throughout the interview process.
The interview touched a lot on real estate law, key terms, and specific industry knowledge. Very doable for people with an RE background but I imagine it would be difficult for those who do not have that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CBRE (Manila, Manila) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process was good. You start with the HR interview (online), then the department's head (online). Might take a while to hear back from them, especially if you have a lot of competition. But if they like you, you'll be directed to the country manager (f2f, for me). Be yourself and be honest.
