Interviewed on site with one person. Conversation went well, positive feeling. Sent a thank you note but got no response about the job after the interview even nearly a year later

Simple interview, started with a phone introduction. Required to take an Excel and Word test to demonstrate experience and skill in those basic applications. Moved on to an in-person interview with more questions directed around how my experience relates to the position offered.
